Fayette County Jury Convicts Lake Lynn Woman of Third-Degree Murder in Toddler's Death

A Fayette County jury has convicted 32-year-old Brianna Bloyer of third-degree murder in the 2024 death of her 2-year-old stepson Bentlee Myers. Bloyer faces sentencing on August 27, with prosecutors seeking the maximum 20 to 40 years in state prison. Co-defendant Brent Bissett previously pleaded guilty to involuntary manslaughter and is serving four to eight years.
