Early Morning Flash Flooding Dispatches Emergency Responders to Scottyland Camping Resort Area

Emergency management crews were dispatched early Tuesday morning following reports of localized flash flooding along the 1600 block of Barron Church Road near Scottyland Camping Resort in the Rockwood area. Heavy overnight thunderstorms delivered concentrated rainfall across higher elevations in Somerset and eastern Fayette counties. Property assessment teams remain on scene evaluating road conditions and campsite drainage.
