UNIONTOWN, PA โ Fire crews battled a working structure fire in Uniontown after flames broke out at a residential property on Coolspring Street.
Emergency personnel were dispatched to 264 Coolspring Street following multiple calls to Fayette County 911. Initial dispatch reports indicated that the residence was believed to be vacant or abandoned.
Upon arrival, first responders encountered heavy smoke and active flames originating from within the residential structure. Firefighters immediately deployed hose lines and initiated primary search and suppression tactics.
During operations, fire crews safely verified that one occupant was out of the building and evaluated by emergency medical personnel on scene. Firefighters successfully contained the primary blaze, preventing fire spread to adjacent properties, and remained on scene to conduct overhaul operations and clear hidden hotspots.
